Soapstone has now helped a number of businesses to successfully apply for grant funding from the Business Growth Programme. The fund is run by Leeds City Region, which is itself funded by the Regional Growth Fund (where Soapstone also has a strong track record).
Rob Littlefair commented, ‘We are very pleased to have 100% record with applications and our experience of various grant schemes shows in the results. By quickly helping to ascertain how likely a project is to gain grant funding, we help our clients understand their eligibility to the fund and what it can mean to their investment plans.”
So far, we have helped businesses all around the Leeds City Region in a number of different sectors to access the fund.
There are two funds available:
- For SME projects asking for less than £100,000 – this is based on capital expenditure and equates to £10,000 per job created
- For larger projects asking between £100,000 and £1,000,000 – based on capital expenditure, innovation and skills investments
The Leeds City Region refers to the local authority districts of Barnsley, Bradford, Calderdale, Craven, Harrogate, Kirklees, Leeds, Selby, Wakefield and York, click here to see the map
